I need IM put back on my laptop and my question is this.

I know there is a two step process using a Gmail address. Is it possible to have IM put back on and use a Yahoo address so I wouldn't have to be up in the wee hours of the morning? Not sure I can stay up that late anymore? Then I could add my own gmail address at a later time?

I forgot and sent Tommy a PM about this before I asked here.

As for you gmail address, it's very easy, you ask for the two steps connection and then scoll down and you'll feel something that ask you if you want a password for application. It's here, gmail will generate it for you
But you also can use your yahoo adress. I have a lot of addresses on my Incredimail

Oh I know it is easy, but the problem is that Tommy would be doing this in the middle of the night and no way I would for sure be awake to give him the two step verification codes he would need. That is why I was asking if I could add it myself after he has it all set up with my Yahoo account.

I sure do miss my IM, but the laptop was having fits. I can wait until he is back. There will be a ton of mail though so I will definitely have something to do to keep me busy.

Of course, you'll be able to add any address your want. The main thing is to check that your IM can work so he needs a mail address and a password. But yahoo too asks for a generate password. If you know it, give it to him.... as well as for gmail....

I think I will be staying up all night just to be sure I get it right, lol. I am good at not understanding things that have to do with a computer. I can restore them and all that with no issues, but messing with things like putting IM back on, NO WAY. That would definitely be all screwed up.

What I need to connect to your computer is your Team viewer ID which looks like this: 1 234 567 and the associated password which looks like this: 1a2b3c4d
